East Venue

East Venue

As we pray and begin to plan for a future East Campus location, we are starting a new gathering for those who desire to be a part of an exciting new community. This gathering will have the same music and teaching as all of our weekend gatherings.

We meet weekly in the Community Center at 10:00 a.m.

Why East?

Hillside traces its roots to a group of couples that were attending First Baptist Church of Pomona in 1979. As they began to move their families to the Rancho area, they sensed a need for new churches in a rapidly growing community. That common thread continues today as God continues to work in profound ways through the people of Hillside.

Today, as more people continue to move east of Hillside to start their families and lay a foundation for their future, our hope is that the East Venue would be a place where those families could hear from God, connect with others and thrive as a family in the same way that the 52 charter members of Hillside prayed that they would one day impact the lives of those east of Pomona.

In this process there will be so many roles to play but central to what we are trying to accomplish is a call to prayer. We would ask that everyone joins us in praying that God will lead us in the next step. If this is something you are committing to, would you just click the button below to let us know so that we can join with you in prayer.

Why Venues?

Shortly after Hillside was founded, we purchased 10 acres of land in order to build a home for the young church. At the time it seemed like more land than we could ever imagine using. Today, we welcome thousands of people to our campus every week.

However, in the Inland Empire there are an estimated 500,000 people who don’t know Jesus that we feel God is calling us to reach. With that calling we are taking our first steps into reaching into the communities surrounding us by developing venues that will bring the same heart of Hillside to those who are seeking a place for their family to grow and thrive.

Hillside’s East Venue is a starting point for impacting those 500,000 stories.

If this is something that you would like to be a part of we would love to invite you to join us for our worship gatherings every Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Community Center as we build a community of people who will eventually go east to launch the East Venue. Bring your families and invite your friends to this full worship gathering that has live worship and hosts as well a live video feed of Pastor Aaron’s teaching.

Interested in Volunteering?

We are still building our team and have a place for anyone who is interested in being a part of this new venue. Just let us know below and we will help you find a role and get connected.
